Dr. Ma is a Distinguished AI Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories with over 22 years of experience in data analysis, processing, and exploitation of remote sensing systems. He is a nationally recognized expert in detection algorithms and a pioneer in tracking systems. Dr. Ma has engineered innovative real-time detection and tracking algorithms for numerous operational remote sensing applications, consistently addressing national security mission challenges over two decades. His current research interests include Computer Vision, Remote Sensing, Big Data, and Adaptive Artificial Intelligence (AI).
